Dean will briefly touch on his research into new operating model constructs (shared in a previous session on 7 March 2024 – ‘Governance 4.0’); the key topics and questions the board and executive need to ask themselves (and answer) in order to determine what ‘fit-for-purpose’ means for them.

Dean is a highly experienced strategy and transformation advisor. He previously served as a consulting partner with several global consulting firms, including having developed and then led EY’s (then Cap Gemini’s) Strategy & Transformation practice in Australia.

Dean now operates his own independent strategic advisory business, is a board director and a part-time professor at two respected business schools.

He has a PhD in board governance of mergers and acquisitions; and degrees in Business Science (Hons), Law (LLB) and an advanced diploma in company law (he is a short-lived ‘de-tribalised’ lawyer)
