Who is eligible?

BoardPro’s discounted pricing is available to organisations who are recognised as a charity, nonprofit, nongovernmental, or social change organisation in their country of operation.

Organisations who are ineligible

for BoardPro’s nonprofit pricing are as follows:

Hospitals

Hospitals, hospital auxiliaries, nurses’ registers or bureaus, health insurance organisations, prepared group health plans, group medical practice associations, in-faculty group practice associations.

Religious organisations

Religious organisations without a secular community designation. To have a secular designation, an organisation must provide services to people regardless of their religious beliefs and must not propagate a belief in a specific faith.

Discriminatory organisations

Organisations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.

Economic development

Such as Chambers of Commerce (excluding foundations), Business Improvement Districts, and local and regional economic development organisations with a primary focus on commercial business development. Trade or business associations.

Government agencies

Government-managed/owned agencies or nonprofits, funded by local, state or federal government.

Professional sport

Sports organisations focused on supporting professional sports or sports players i.e., those that receive payment for their performance

Legislative and political activity organisations.

 Such as schools, colleges, universities, or a related organisation. Note: Schools may be eligible to receive a school discount instead.

Anyone can purchase a BoardPro subscription, but not everyone will meet the criteria for discounted pricing. BoardPro sets these guidelines at its discretion and maintains the right to supplement or change these guidelines at any time.
