Artificial intelligence capabilities continue to rapidly evolve. The emergence of widely available generative AI marked a significant milestone, with ground- breaking products such as ChatGPT, Bing AI, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini AI, entering our homes and workspaces. 

Directors cannot put their heads in the sand or tinker around the edges. Instead, they should support their organisations to embrace the AI challenge, including taking advantage of capability and productivity gains while prudently managing risks.
